     1. Prey (Developer: Arkane Studios Austin)

The Prey storyline is stunning — the events take place in an alternative world where former US President John Kennedy was not killed. He lived on his own, served the country with faith and truth, and because of this, everything in the world was a little different. Kennedy decided to focus on America's space program.

The game events will unfold in 2035, but the Talos 1 station was built in the 1960s and it seems to have survived. I have enjoyed the gameplay and the idea of developers to let the president live.

During the first mission you find yourself on a huge map, which is crowded with various strategic objects. There are various tasks that you can perform absolutely in any sequence and this really amazes me. Not every player is ready for such freedom. Your main weapon is a long-range sniper rifle, from which you can hit enemies in less than half a kilometer.

This is the perfect action game and shooter, which keeps you in suspense; it demands from you accuracy, patience and ability to plan your actions.

     3. Quake Champions (Developer: id Software, Saber Interactive)

The shooter slogan is its speed. You will again see the characters familiar to us (me personally) by Quake 3: Arena; now each of them is unique and has his own abilities. For example, some can illuminate enemies through walls and become invisible, others can greatly accelerate knocking everyone in their path and teleporting behind the enemy, and someone can place amplifications on the map or make traps.

     4. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (Developer: Brendan Greene, Bluehole Inc.)

In general, this game does not need to be represented. It is a phenomenon of 2017. The shooter quickly came into the top projects of Steam and got the first place in the number people simultaneously playing this game.Now during the games you earn special points, purchasing for them various cases with extras. The main argument for trying the shooter now is 15 million players that affirm they do love this stuff.

     5. LawBreakers (Developer: Boss Key Productions)

This is a shooter where all the others are cut to pieces, curse each other and jump everywhere. The game was released on August 8, 2017 and received many positive reviews. It is not distributed on the Free to Play model, however the cost of the game is $60 lower than the traditional box products.

     6. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 (Developer: CI Games)

The game action takes place in Georgia. The storyline tells us about how several large states that started the real big war in a small but proud country, and the main game hero called Jonathan will have to fix everything and prevent the World War III. The gameplay of this shooter is unique. As the developers assure the player will always have a choice how to solve this or that situation.

     7. Resident Evil 7 (Developer: Capcom Production Studio 1)

Resident Evil 7 is a return to the roots of the series, but in fact this is a fundamentally new game. The game evokes horror, mixed with fantastic interest. According to the storyline, you will have to get out of the house where some strange things happen. I enjoyed this shooter that lets you wandering through the rooms, solving various curious puzzles and doing all those things that Resident Evil games never offered before. You will meet rotten walls covered with mold, disgusting creatures, blood and cockroaches — all of these things are supposed to plunge you into the game world.

      8. Call of Duty: WWII (Developer: Sledgehammer Games)

The game will remind us about the events of World War II. The return to the classical setting significantly reduced the overall pace of the game. However the shooter dynamics can seem to you slow. Meanwhile it does not mean that the game is dull. I have enjoyed both the storyline and new options: try to play it and you will agree with me.

      9. Destiny 2 (Developer: Bungie)

This is a sci-fi stunning first-person shooter. Its improvements have touched not the gameplay itself, but its context. Now more attention is paid to the storyline. All the episodes look awesome and well-directed. The story is as follows: the last Bastion of the human race on Earth was suddenly attacked by red legionaries (Cabal) under the command of a man with the gladiator name Dominus Ghaul. The central theme of the shooter is the return of the lost and revenge to Dominus.

     10. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus (Developer: MachineGames)

This shooter is a direct continuation of the New Order. The game developers paid great attention to shootings, dialogues and characters. The gameplay is exciting — everything is executed at the highest level: the battle scenes are colorful, the humor is excellent, and animations of deaths look real.
